When asked if he would ban guns in general, Booker says, “I would.”
SEDALIA, Mo. — Today, Attorney General Josh Hawley toured Starline Brass, Inc., a manufacturer of brass casings for reloading ammunition, and he called out Senator Claire McCaskill for inviting Senator Cory Booker into the state because Booker wants to ban guns.
“On issue after issue, Senator McCaskill thumbs her nose at the people of Missouri and stands with people who don’t share our beliefs,” said Josh Hawley. “She won’t vote to secure the border. She opposes conservative judges like Neil Gorsuch. She votes to increase taxes. She defended Hillary Clinton’s attacks on our state because we supported President Trump. Now Senator McCaskill is inviting an admitted gun-grabber into our state to campaign for her. Senator McCaskill pays lip service to the Second Amendment, but she doesn’t defend it.”
Sen. Booker will be in Kansas City and St. Louis this coming weekend to campaign with Sen. McCaskill.
