On May 6, the out-of-touch incumbent will be rubbing shoulders with Hollywood’s finest, alongside her political ally, President Barack Obama. Attending an event hosted by Hollywood billionaires, McCaskill is making clear who her real constituency is… It leaves Missourians wondering: why won’t she hold the event with former President Obama here in her own state?
Here is the Hawley campaign’s web ad that launched when news of the fundraiser first broke. It is currently up and running online here in Missouri.
As reported by the Washington Times, “In the ad, her likely Republican rival, Attorney General Josh Hawley, labeled her a ‘hypocrite’ for claiming she’s not part of the Democratic Party establishment and then flying to Beverly Hills to benefit from the first fundraiser hosted by Mr. Obama this election cycle.”
