Josh Hawley: Claire McCaskill Proves She’s Just Another Washington Liberal
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – U.S. Senate candidate Josh Hawley released the following statement after the Missouri Press Association Debate against Claire McCaskill:
“It’s very likely that Missouri voters will decide control of the U.S. Senate this November. And if Democrats take control of the Senate, the first thing Claire McCaskill will do is team up with Chuck Schumer to raise taxes, open our borders, kill jobs, oppose constitutional conservative judges and weaken our military.
“Today, Senator McCaskill demonstrated that she’s just another Washington liberal who cares more about her political pals in Washington D.C. than she does about the people of Missouri. Missourians deserve someone who will listen to them on issues like securing the border, cutting taxes, and supporting constitutionalist judges. We need a Senator who loves our way of life here in Missouri – who will fight for it, rather than against it.
“The truth is, the people of Missouri are worse off under Claire McCaskill’s so-called leadership. She supports everything the Heartland opposes – open-borders, cuts to Medicare, higher taxes, more regulations and greater government interference.
“I will be a different kind of Senator. I will listen to the Heartland and represent our way of life, and no one else, in the U.S. Senate.”
