Senator has voted with Democrats 83 percent of the time
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Attorney General Josh Hawley blasted Senator Claire McCaskill for claiming she votes with her party “only about half the time,” as she was trying to defend her opposition to Gina Haspel’s confirmation as CIA Director.
“Senator McCaskill thinks Missourians won’t notice how much she votes with Democrats if she just lies about it, but her record speaks for itself,” said Josh Hawley. “She is staunchly opposed to President Trump’s agenda and has remained a hard partisan throughout her time in the Senate. That’s why she’s the most unpopular Senator in American running for re-election.”
