April 9, 2018

Senator continues to bring in millions from national bundling, lobbyists, Wall Street and Hollywood friends

COLUMBIA, Mo. – With the release of Senator Claire McCaskill’s first-quarter fundraising numbers, Josh Hawley – the top Republican Senate challenger in the country for dollars raised in the fourth quarter of 2017 – issued the following statement:

“Senator McCaskill may raise more money than any other candidate running for office this cycle because she’s been a politician for 36 years and has built up plenty of chits with liberal elites and lobbyists. She’s being rewarded by her liberal donor base for her votes against the interest of Missourians, including opposing tax cuts and conservative judges. All of this has led her to becoming the top congressional recipient of money from lawyers and lobbyists, the top recipient of money from Wall Street, and one of the top recipients of money from Hollywood.”
