Where’s Claire?
Sen. Kamala Harris keynoting St. Louis event tonight, why won’t Claire McCaskill be seen with her?
COLUMBIA, Mo. – As California Senator Kamala Harris prepares to keynote the St. Louis County NAACP’s 83rd Annual Freedom Fund Leadership Dinner this evening, Missourians wonder if their own Senator will attend the event with her.
“Claire McCaskill and Kamala Harris agree on most issues in the Senate, so will the two be seen together in Missouri?” said Kelli Ford, spokesperson for the Hawley for Senate campaign. “Whether they’re enabling illegal immigration, opposing middle-class tax cuts or blocking conservative judges, these two are aligned on some of the worst policies for Missouri. It’s anyone’s guess if McCaskill will go out of her way to welcome Harris to the state, or if she’s trying to keep her friend’s visit quiet.”
